Sport & Performance
Psychology

One-on-one. Confidential. Built around your sport and your goals.

Schedule a Consultation

Sport and performance psychology focuses on training the mental side of performance—how you think, feel, and execute in key moments. Whether in sport, school, work, or other high-pressure environments, psychological skills can be trained just like physical ones.

Sessions are designed to build core mental skills so you can perform consistently when it matters most. This work supports both peak performance and overall well-being, helping you show up prepared, grounded, and confident in your craft and in life.

Sessions are one-on-one, virtual, and completely confidential. Each session is built around your specific performance goals and adjusted as those goals evolve over time.

Mental health and performance are connected. You cannot fully separate them.

Dr. Kraska provides individual counseling that is grounded in evidence-based clinical practice and deeply informed by an understanding of what it means to be an athlete. Sessions are a supportive, confidential space to understand what is happening in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors and to build real skills for managing it.

Because mental health and performance go hand in hand, sessions often address both. Dr. Kraska is licensed to treat actual mental health conditions and provide performance consulting.

What is the difference between sport psychology and clinical psychology?

Sport psychology is about building the mental skills that help you perform under pressure such as confidence, focus, routines, and composure. Clinical psychology addresses what is happening beneath the surface such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and burnout.
